I have been an elementary school teacher for over 5 years, and my passion for teaching continues to grow after every year! I truly love watching students become successful scholars both in and outside of the classroom.
I graduated with a Masters of Education from High Point University, and am enrolling to get my doctorate in Administration. Education is truly a passion of mine, and I would love to share my love for learning with you!

My approach as a tutor is very individualized. I get to know you as a person, your interests, and how you learn best. My lessons are tailored to fit your specific need! This personalized approach sets you up for success both in, and out of the classroom!
A typical lesson plan for me begins with a quick review, before engaging in a current topic that you might require additional support. This can be through modeled examples, guided practice, and independent tries to ensure mastery of the concept.
I have been a teacher for over 5 years now, and I have taught a variety of students, grades, and subjects. I am unlike other tutors because I will get to know how you learn best! When I tutor, that student is my number one priority!
My lessons are designed for K-8 Mathematics, English, Science, and Social Studies. Additionally, I provide lessons for pre-algebra and students who are enrolled in a Spanish class.
