I use active problem-solving techniques, graphing tools like Desmos, and real practice exam questions from official CollegeBoard material and other textbooks tailored to each student's goals.
A 60-minute lesson follows a structured format:
Concept Review (10 mins): Reviewing tricky formulas or homework issues.
Main Topic Breakdown (15 mins): Lesson for SAT style question topics and patterns.
Guided Practice (20 mins): Working through problems together with instant feedback.
Problem Solving(10 mins): Student spends time working on problems themselves with minimal assistance to create confidence.
Final Review(5 mins): Review the finished work for the last few minutes of class including any questions they may have.
