About Dorothy
As a Year 11 student predicted to achieve all 8s and 9s, I am incredibly passionate about both learning and teaching. I understand the challenges students face, having once been a struggling student myself, and have since improved exponentially. My journey has fuelled my desire to help others succeed. I am known for my patience, kindness, and dedication, qualities that make me an effective tutor. Within my school, I tutor fellow students and have been recognized for my achievements, winning awards at the Big Bang Competition as well as in Chemistry, Physics, and Maths. I am committed to providing high-quality tutoring for GCSE and KS3 subjects at an affordable rate of £10 per hour.

Hi! I am a Y11 student looking to tutor KS3 and GCSE students. As someone predicted 8s and 9s in all my subjects, I believe I have found revision strategies and learning methods that have allowed me to unlock the top marks and look forward to sharing those with others. My teaching style is very interactive, as I have found that understanding concepts happens best when you are actively engaged with the content. A typical lesson length would be an hour, the same length as an in class lesson however one-to-one tutoring allows for a more personalised approach in which the student can feel free to ask questions.
I have experience tutoring people within school, as well as previous students I have taught online.
