High-school teacher gives Maths and Physics lessons at any level in Leicester and surroundings

Methodology

Duration : 90-120 mins - Price : £20.00 - Place : WigstonI have MSc degree in Physics and Maths,and BA in Pedagogy, I have been teaching these subjects for 19 years at secondary and high-schools as a full-time teacher,mainly for the 15-19 age group, but also to the 11-15 years old.
I used to start the lesson with the checking of the homeworks and solving the problems, organizing a debate about the topic(s), the hindrances encountered during the solution process.
After that we either exercise the given topic or change it, depending on its stage of mastery by the student. I am building on his/her existing knowledge, skills and lay down "brick-by-brick" the foundations of the new topic. I am a patient tutor, there are no silly questions, I encourage trial and error and come up for rescue when the person is lost in the midst of the question.
