About Will
I am a student at King's College School Wimbledon currently in my second year of the International Baccalaureate (IB).
I have a genuine passion for French and languages in general, scoring a very high A* in my IGCSE and predicted the maximum grade for my IB exam in the summer of 2019.
My standard of spoken French is very near that of a native speaker and my French comprehension, both oral and written, is excellent.

I think that teaching a language should be well structured, with a focus on developing speaking and writing capability through a solid understanding of grammar, verb tenses and a wide, varied vocabulary. I also believe strongly in the importance of using existing literature as a tool to improve ones skill in any language, I found reading novels in French to be hugely beneficial to my understanding of the language.
To me, teaching should be informative but also engaging, I think it is of vital importance to involve students with their syllabus and to develop linguistic skills through studying current affairs and interesting, relevant topics.
