About Joanna
Hi all!
I’m Jo and I’m really looking forward to meeting you !
I have been a primary teacher for 8 years and have now decided that I would like to offer one to one support through tutoring. Much of my experience has been in Key Stage 2. I’m really looking forward to helping you become more confident with English and Maths and I hope with my ‘can do’ attitude you will realise that you are capable of great things . I’m really looking forward to meeting you and helping you on your learning journey.
In my spare time I enjoy reading , playing the piano , catching up with friends and jogging.

I offer a free initial session which helps me to build a rapport with the student from the start . I am able to find out what learning styles are suited to them whilst also finding out more about them as a person . This then allows me to plan following sessions to cater for their needs making sure the sessions are fun and engaging to help them progress . My sessions are designed to be calm and comfortable, which in turn encourages children to feel at ease to ask any questions to help them progress with their learning .
