About Gabriel
With over 15 years of wide-ranging legal experience and as a current PhD candidate, I offer students a unique blend of practical expertise and academic insight. My journey through law has taken me from courtroom advocacy and complex contract negotiation to successful legal writing, research, and impactful presentations before professional and public audiences. Beyond practice, I have spent more than a decade mentoring law students—helping them master difficult concepts, excel in exams, and develop as confident legal thinkers.
I am passionate about translating the intricacies of the law into accessible, engaging lessons, whether in one-on-one tutorials, dynamic group workshops, or public speaking on radio and television. My teaching style combines clarity, empathy, and real-world perspective, always aiming to ignite curiosity and foster genuine understanding.
Currently pursuing doctoral research, I stay at the forefront of legal scholarship and critical analysis, continuously updating my approach to reflect the latest developments in law and social justice. My lesson approach begins with understanding each student’s unique goals, strengths, and preferred learning styles. Complex legal topics are broken down into clear, manageable pieces, with explanations tailored to make even challenging concepts accessible. Whenever possible, I use stories and real-world examples to connect legal principles to everyday life, making learning memorable and enjoyable.
I set lesson lengths based on students’ levels and needs—shorter, more focused sessions for younger or beginner learners, and longer, more intensive tutorials for advanced students. As a 3rd-year PhD candidate at The Open University with formal training in teaching strategies, I bring up-to-date legal knowledge and adaptable methods to every tutorial. My sessions are unbiased, research-driven, and customized, whether you’re an A-Level student preparing for exams, an undergraduate seeking a deeper understanding, or an adult seeking guidance on personal or professional legal issues.
