About Gerasim
Hi there! Are you a music lover looking for an experienced and passionate oboe, flute, recorder, or piano teacher? Look no further than me, Gerasim, a dedicated and reliable musician with years of experience both performing and teaching!
I am a graduate from Trinity Laban Conservatory of Music and Dance with a Master's Degree in music, and I have worked as a professional oboist with The Russian State Theatre of Opera and Ballet, as well as touring the UK with the Russian State Ballet of Siberia as their first oboe.
As a teacher, my goal is to inspire and guide students of all ages and abilities in their musical journey. With personalized lessons tailored to your specific needs and goals, you can be confident that you're receiving the highest level of expertise and instruction.
I have extensive experience working with pupils in primary schools and have taught students of all ages and abilities, from young beginners to experienced players. I am patient, friendly, and dedicated to making the learning process fun and engaging for all of my students.

I base my classes on both educational and fun approach for students of all ages tailoring the materials and lessons towards their individual needs and goals. The age range of students that I've taught is 5 - 30-year old. I combine the knowledge of the Russian music school system with the modern European system.
