About Helena
With 11 years of experience teaching Spanish, I have had the privilege of helping approximately 150–200 students improve their language skills and gain confidence in communication. I teach students of all levels and believe that every learner deserves a personalised approach that respects their learning style, interests, and goals.
My lessons are designed to strengthen grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, and speaking through practical learning experiences. Instead of relying only on textbooks, I use interactive discussions, role-playing, language games, and real-world conversations that encourage students to apply their knowledge naturally and confidently.
I believe that learning should be enjoyable and motivating. I create a positive classroom atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions, expressing their ideas, and learning from every challenge they face. I monitor progress carefully and provide constructive feedback that helps students improve steadily and remain motivated throughout their learning journey.
One of my unique abilities is creating flexible lesson plans that can be adjusted according to each student's progress. Whether a learner needs additional grammar practice, conversational confidence, or exam preparation, I adapt my teaching methods to provide the right level of support. My goal is to help students become independent learners who can communicate effectively in Spanish in both academic and everyday situations.

I focus on teaching Spanish in a way that is structured, adaptable, and engaging for every student. Accountability encourages learners to take responsibility for their progress, set goals, and stay consistent in their practice.

I also integrate related subjects such as grammar, literature, vocabulary, and cultural context, providing a deeper understanding of the Spanish language. My ultimate goal is to help learners develop practical skills, cultural awareness, and a lifelong enthusiasm for Spanish.
