About Leo
I have 12 years of experience teaching Spanish to High School and College students and have successfully worked with around 150 learners. Throughout my teaching journey, I have focused on helping students develop practical language skills while enjoying the learning process. My teaching philosophy emphasises clear communication, regular practice, and individual attention.
Every lesson is designed to strengthen grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening, speaking, reading, and writing. I use discussions, interactive exercises, storytelling, and real-life situations to make Spanish easier to understand. I also provide regular assessments and constructive feedback so students know their strengths and areas for improvement.
One of my notable achievements has been helping many students improve their academic performance and gain the confidence to communicate in Spanish. Watching students overcome challenges and achieve their goals is the most rewarding part of my work.
I believe learning should be encouraging rather than stressful. I work hard to create positive lessons that motivate students to participate, ask questions, and continue improving. My aim is to help students build strong language skills that will benefit them in education, travel, and future careers.

I teach Spanish with a student-centred approach that is interactive, practical, and motivating. Accountability ensures learners set goals, track their progress, and take responsibility for their learning journey. Integrity guarantees lessons are honest, fair, and tailored to each student’s strengths and challenges.
I embrace Flexibility, adapting lesson content, exercises, and teaching strategies to match different learning styles, levels, and personal goals. Communication is at the heart of my methodology; I encourage conversation, discussion, and interactive exercises to help students internalise grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
A Positive environment motivates learners, celebrates achievements, and builds confidence. I also integrate complementary subjects such as grammar, literature, vocabulary, and cultural studies to provide practical context and enrich learning. My goal is to help students achieve fluency, confidence, and a lasting passion for Spanish.
