About Jordan
I am currently employed as a full time math teacher. I have experience teaching grades 6-10 algebra and geometry.
I was also a district math consultant and trained math teachers grades 4-10.
My focus is on diagnostics and sense making. I like to make sure students have the fundamentals and firm grasp on concepts rather than just memorizing steps or drilling problem sets.

My methodologies are a mix of digital simulations, inquiry and direct teaching.
Typically with algebra I like to use concrete examples in arithmetic to highlight algebraic realities. For raphical representations I like to use Desmos to represent situations and changes to situations.
