About Shaun

My teaching experience includes 35 years teaching History, along with English, Geography and Mathematics. I have taught students in the final year of primary school through to adults and have acted as a private tutor for examination preparation and the writing of external exam assignments for History, this has been on a one-to-one basis and with groups up to three in number and has also included ESL in both the UK and overseas. I promote the use of 21st Century learning skills, including the use of computers and associated technology and believe that I listen carefully to student concerns and desires, am sympathetic and have had success in raising personal confidence, resulting in very positive examination results and desired places in higher education. University : - University of Bristol - Master's degree in Educational Management and Administration - University of London, Goldsmith's College - BEd History

Mr. Ward is an amazing history teacher who taught me History HL in IB. He ensured that I had a smooth transition from an Indian curriculum to the IB. I ended up scoring a grade 7 in IB which is the highest grade possible.
He is very patient and gives plenty of secondary resources as well.
