About Shaun
My teaching experience includes 35 years teaching History, along with English, Geography and Mathematics. I have taught students in the final year of primary school through to adults and have acted as a private tutor for examination preparation and the writing of external exam assignments for History, this has been on a one-to-one basis and with groups up to three in number and has also included ESL in both the UK and overseas. I promote the use of 21st Century learning skills, including the use of computers and associated technology and believe that I listen carefully to student concerns and desires, am sympathetic and have had success in raising personal confidence, resulting in very positive examination results and desired places in higher education. *History A-Level as a mature student*
Very experienced teacher and tutor with a broad knowledge and excellent resources. Shaun is flexible with study sessions which is very useful for mature students.Mr. Ward is an amazing history teacher who taught me History HL in IB. He ensured that I had a smooth transition from an Indian curriculum to the IB. I ended up scoring a grade 7 in IB which is the highest grade possible.
