I can teach at primary, GCSE, A level or undergraduate study levels. I like to break down larger concepts into smaller, more easily digestible parts, and develop understanding of each of these parts, then develop knowledge of the links between them, then consider the concepts as a whole as a conclusion. I like to make lessons with an element of free-thought and debate, as that is the key way in understanding a concept.
I have a bachelor's degree in Geography and History, and have an extensive knowledge in both subjects and in politics. I previously undertook teacher training so have experience delivering lessons to large groups and helping individuals to learn! I have studied both subjects throughout my entire time in education. I have strong knowledge particularly in the history of Germany, medieval British history, the Cold War, Elizabethan and Tudor England, History of communism and fascism, Renewable and non-renewable energy, urban environments, trade, geopolitics, globalisation and plate tectonics. I have experience working with people with special needs or disabilities, especially those on the Autistic spectrum.
If a student lives more than 8 miles away, the £5 will be added to cover travel costs.
