About Laura

Hello, I am Laura. I recently finished a 3D Games Art Master at UCA and currently pursuing a Concept Art mentorship. I have a strong classical background in Art and Design due to a long Art School background in both Italy and the UK. My background blends classical art history with contemporary visual culture and digital commercial art. I can make art history clear, inspiring, and relevant; whether you’re preparing for exams, applying to art school, or just exploring your curiosity. I teach through storytelling in an entertaining way and adapted to your level. You don’t need to be an expert to start, just curious!

About the lesson

My lessons focus on helping students of any age understand the history of art and learn how to analyse and “read” artworks; from composition and symbolism to context and meaning. I use a conversational, image based approach to make art engaging and accessible. Lessons are usually 60 minutes, but flexible. Students can follow a structured programme or suggest a topic, and I’ll tailor a lesson around it. I am here to show you how to read and understand art; any kind of art, not just one piece. With practice and critical thinking, you’ll gain the skills to analyse, write about, and even create art with confidence. Whether you’re preparing for exams or exploring a personal passion, my lessons are designed to help you grow and express your unique voice.
