About Tamsin
Hi, I’m Tamsin and I’m an A level student in Politics, History and English literature. I offer History and English tutoring for GCSE students. I truly have a passion for both subjects and hope to be able to pass that on to my students. I volunteer at my school to assist younger students with their reading progress which has led to me aspiring to become a teacher in the future. I know that GCSEs can be a very stressful period, even in year 9 and 10, so I wish to be able to support students and consolidate their confidence in the subjects.

I strongly believe in the importance of History and English as subjects in school as well as their ability to shape our views and beliefs. During sessions I’d ensure students have the skills they require to thrive in exams through knowledge recall and looking over past papers as well as recommending resources that I found useful at GCSE. I’d aspire to create a safe space for students to be able to seek help and voice their opinions.
