About Tim
Hi There!
My name's Tim and for the last 8 years, more or less everything i've done has related to history. From guiding tourists around the ruins of Rome, to guiding younger students through their first real experience of the subject. I believe that the study of human history can be fascinating to anyone, provided it is taught with the enthusiasm that it deserves. I'm happy to teach anything, from the theory behind how to study history, to essay writing itself (a tricky art to master), to simply helping students make their own way through the grand narrative of our species' story. Prior to the global pandemic, I was working with A level history and Ancient History students and discovering how easy it was to get young people engaged with history, if approached in the right way. As a result, I've become a big believer in the importance of talking over work in real time, over skype, zoom or any other means of communication.
