About Anthony
I was a passionate student of history at school and got an A at GCSE and an A at A level, then continued to study Ancient History at Newcastle University where I graduated with a 2:1 degree. Due to this my speciality is in Ancient Roman and Greek history, including some classical literature, but I am familiar with other areas as well including the Norman Conquest, The Tudors including the Reformation of the Church, and more recent history including the lead up to the World Wars and the Cold War afterwards. I am fascinated by the stories that make up our shared past and can share that passion with any willing student.

First and foremost, make it interesting. There is a lot of history to learn, and many aspects of it can be quite dull - nobody likes learning dates by rote, but learning all about the battles, political machinations, plots and counter-plots that happened in a year will probably make it stick in the head regardless. And when all else fails, make up a rhyme - it doesn't have to make sense, so long as it's silly enough that you'll remember it.
