My teaching methodology is highly personalised, and tailored to suit the goals of the individual or group that I'm tutoring. If academic achievement is the object of our sessions, I'm happy to help with essay planning, revision, and increasing general comfort with the material. My lessons are geared towards creating a relaxed and enjoyable environment from which greater confidence with historical issues can emerge.
I have an M.A. from the University of St Andrews in Modern History, and greatly enjoy teaching history to students of all levels, from pre-GCSE to university. European, French, American, and History of Medicine are particular subjects of interest, although I'm just as happy teaching general history to those looking to increase their marks and general knowledge in a broader area.
