About Koen
After my public education was finalised I learnt more in my subsequent years than I could ever hope to dream of learning while in school, the reason being teachers have to stick to the curriculum, my favourite thing about history is that it reads better than any work of fiction and that it teaches human nature in its most positive and negative traits.

From my own experience school teachers can be less forthcoming with confronting proper historical realities because of the protocol, but the truth shouldn't be quieted down to conjecture or to save peoples emotions, or merely to be argued in a for and against essay with your own concluding opinion, as Churchill said "the job of a historian is to find out what happened and why".
