I am able to tutor GCSE, A-Level, and first-year undergraduate students. I believe in meeting the student where they currently stand in their abilities, allowing them to develop their skills at an appropriate pace and to improve their self-confidence .
In my lessons, I try to review my student's work to see where they can improve their writing and study skills in a way that will be practicable for them, setting realistic goals and challenges.
I am a PhD student, currently based between King's College London and the University of Cambridge. I have a Master's degree with Distinction in Medieval History from KCL and my own research considers the role of money in the Carolingian Empire.
I am able to offer tutoring across the span of medieval to modern history, as well as broader range of skills related to the humanities, like essay-writing and exam techniques.
I work in London on Tuesdays and Thursdays and would be happy to meet students there. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, I work in Cambridge and am happy to travel up-to 10km outside of the city for a lesson. Depending on where you would like to meet, however, I would charge an addition £5 to cover my transport fees.
