About Maddie
I am a student currently studying Ancient and Modern History at Oriel College, Oxford. I have given informal tutoring before and have primarily worked with students taking GCSE. I took the new GSCE in English Literature so am familiar with the new style of course. Similarly, I have worked with students who have taken the new humanities subjects so can offer a degree of experienced advice in this area.

My teaching method depends on what you want from our lessons. We will start with a consolidation of what you already know and identify where you feel you need the most help. This would be a tutoring session based on what you want, so each lesson can look at a different thing or we can look more closely at a particular aspect in detail until you feel confident with.
Exam practice will be an important part of lessons but they will be mostly question based. You can ask me questions and I will ask you questions to develop your opinions and work on critical thinking.
I was in your shoes just a few years ago so I know how it all feels and can always offer a chat about how to plan revision and a little moral support whenever you need.
