About Findlay
Hi, I'm Finn. I'm currently studying History at Warwick University. Funnily enough, I didn't even enjoy History until mid-way through year 12. I used to really struggle with essays in particular for both English and History, and it was really only just before my exams that I figured out the 'formula' on how to get top marks on essays. After learning, I would spend study sessions with other students and begin to teach them the same formula in order to improve their grades. I found this incredibly enjoyable and now want to help other students who may struggle with the subjects, to find ways to no longer find the process so difficult.

Will use Zoom and Google docs in order to collaborate on projects together. My tutoring specialises in A-Level and GCSE level English Literature and History.
My tutoring is personalised to individual needs, so whilst essay writing will be key for most students, also just learning the content may be something we need to discuss instead.
My goal is to make learning and remembering the content easier, but also to find the write method to write essays that get high marks.
Lessons will last for 1 hour, although this is also flexible to a student's needs.
I'm in my first year of tutoring, but having completed my A-levels very recently, so understand the experience very well.
