About Mikhail
I am currently a third year Historian at Durham University. I have on and off tutored children for the last two years.
During term breaks I have worked at 'Camp Beaumont' camps in London as well as the London School of Mathematics and Programming. I also have 4 brothers between the ages of 4 and 14 so I have had a significant amount of experience in dealing with children.

My teaching method, while based on achieving some form of end goal, is very much dependant on the day at hand. I vary the intensity and focus depending on how the child/teenager approaches the task for that lesson. I don't believe that a rigourous, checklist-based approach is condusive to optimal learning. In my mind if the student can learn to see any session as a positive improvement then that is preferable.
