About Kabir Singh
I am a final year undergraduate studying BA (Hons) History at the University of Warwick. I have previously tutored GCSE Maths when I was at school. I have a strong academic record achieving A*A*B at A-level in History, English Literature and Mathematics and have scored highly in my cohort at university. With regards to History, my teaching method primarily focuses on technique and how to approach exams and coursework. A common mistake made by many history students is to get bogged down in content when revising and essay structure is altogether ignored. My style as a tutor would be to ensure that students write succinctly and coherently which will help them achieve the best grade. In terms of English, my teaching style will aim for my students to grasp the basic techniques of the subject with a particular focus on language analysis and including historical context to produce high-level work. I have a solid academic ability in mathematics achieving a high A* at GCSE and B at A-level. I would help students understand the main mathematical methods and consolidate this through consistent practice.
