About Athena
This will be my first chance to start tutoring students as I wanted to wait until I gathered more knowledge of the two languages when I started university. I have always been quite attentive to my friends that needed help throughout GCSE/A-Levels and now university.

¡Hola! Ciao!
I am about to start my second year of studying Spanish and Italian at the University of Southampton and would love to help others begin from scratch or learn and improve any existing knowledge they may have of Spanish.
Helping others with their language skills will also give me the chance to solidify what I already know and dive further into Spanish. I will be able to help people at a range of different levels, from complete beginners to competent intermediates by using a variety of different techniques to make it fun and interesting!
Depending on the level of the student, we will look at specific vocabulary, grammatical structures and a few idiomatic phrases to widen your language use. I believe that in order to fully enjoy a country's culture and the people that live there, it is essential to have a grasp of their language! Since I have only just started to learn Italian this year, I am still only on a GCSE level, however, I would be more than happy to help an Italian beginner also.
