About Alice
I am very passionate about Spanish and for the last 15 years, I have dedicated my academic and professional life to my subject. I have a lot of experience imparting my linguistic knowledge and supporting students at all levels with different learning styles. In my lessons, I am calm and approachable; I acknowledge students' strengths and motivate them to achieve the best of their ability. I have both a BA degree and an MA degree in Spanish language and I studied and worked in Spain for two years. I additionally completed a PGCE to become a qualified teacher of Modern Foreign Languages and have acquired over 6 years of experience teaching in secondary school. In my lessons, I support my students with an amicable yet professional approach. I am very enthusiastic about my subject and consistently provide my students with a calm and positive space to improve their confidence in Spanish. I encourage them to ask insightful questions and build my answers into the lesson, using real-life examples to impart my cultural and linguistic knowledge. I have experience, not only preparing students for their GCSE and A level exams but also conducting the GCSE and A level speaking exams. I am very familiar with the AQA and Edexcel exam boards, including their mark schemes and have a strong understanding of the variety of skills that are required in the exams. I can help you to develop fluency in Spanish…whether you want to improve your conversational Spanish; enhance your grammatical accuracy; build on your exam technique or simply immerse yourself in this incredible language...contact me to find out how I can support you.
