I base my classes on the strengths of the student. Learning a language is one of the most difficult things to learn so I tailor my classes to the needs of my students which creates the best results. My lessons will use a variety of learning styles including visual and listening apparatus'. I also find quick fire games are a great way for my students to retain the information taught whilst also enjoying themselves at the same time.
I love languages and I am currently studying for my Masters in Mandarin and International relations. I have been studying Spanish since I was 15 years old and achieved a B at GCSE's. Since then I have worked and travelled in a few Spanish speaking countries which has helped me hone my Spanish speaking and writing skills. I have also have tutored students in Spanish.

Firstly, I am a huge believer in giving back to your community which I believe stems from growing up in church and helping the leaders with the children at Sunday school. Since then I have assumed many leadership positions both paid and voluntary, including being a ‘reading champion’ where I worked with dyslexic children to help them improve their reading and volunteering as a tutor in English and Spanish at GCSE level and these positions have made me a very independent person who can work with a team or by myself because I learn things fast.
One of my proudest achievements is my role as a 2012 Olympic youth ambassador where I had to liaise with prominent sports stars and personnel to schedule meetings and sports events, whilst also being afforded the opportunity witness the behind the scenes processes of the Olympics.
Lastly, I have a penchant for languages such to the point that after going on a school trip to China for 10 days it inspired me to learn Mandarin at university and in the second year of my degree I studied in China for 9 months which offered me insight into a completely different culture and way of life.
