About YUXUAN
I'm a girl from Quzhou, China — the birthplace of the game of Go.
Back at Beijing Normal University, I served as President of the Go Club and Captain of the university Go team. I led the team to compete in numerous Go tournaments across Beijing, achieving excellent results. I myself hold an amateur 5-dan rank.
I have over a year of part-time teaching experience at a Go academy, where I instructed groups of up to 13 students ranging from complete beginners to 3–4 dan players. I also helped the academy train several adult Go instructors, guiding them on teaching methods and lesson structure.
I'm currently pursuing my master's degree in Law at KCL. Having arrived in this unfamiliar city, I hope to make new friends through Go while continuing my teaching journey.

My lessons include instructional explanations, problem-solving exercises, and real-game practice with review.
My schedule is very flexible—I can adjust to your preferred learning pace, whether that's once a week or more frequent sessions, with lessons typically lasting 1.5 to 2 hours.
As a native Chinese speaker, I'm especially suited to Chinese-speaking learners who want clear, step-by-step guidance. English speakers also welcomed.
Whether you're just starting out or aiming to break through a plateau, I'll help you build real understanding and enjoy every game!
