I hold a Bachelor’s degree in French Studies and bring over five years of experience as a private tutor and language assistant. My background includes supporting students in academic settings as well as adult learners preparing for international travel or work relocation. I’ve worked with beginners, intermediate speakers, and those studying for DELF exams, always tailoring my approach to the individual learner. I value patience, clarity, and steady progression. My sessions combine structure with creativity, using visual aids, audio clips, and conversation-driven tasks to create an immersive experience. My French lessons are structured around building a clear foundation in the language, beginning with everyday vocabulary, useful expressions, and basic sentence structure. Students are introduced to common conversation topics and simple grammar rules in a gradual, easy-to-follow format. Pronunciation and listening skills are also developed early on using simple audio tools and repetition exercises, which help you sound more natural from the very beginning.
As students become more confident, I introduce intermediate concepts like verb conjugations, past and future tenses, and structured writing. Lessons are kept interactive through reading passages, listening practice, role-plays, and conversation games designed to apply grammar in real-life communication. The aim is to move from understanding isolated words to forming complete thoughts, making your use of French both functional and expressive.
Advanced learners benefit from customized lessons that target fluency, accuracy, and style. Topics include formal writing, complex sentence construction, idiomatic expressions, and cultural context through films, articles, and short stories. I assign optional homework and provide consistent feedback to help you refine your understanding.
