My Teaching Approach
I believe that learning should be engaging, structured, and tailored to each student’s needs. Whether it’s Chemistry, Maths, or Piano, I focus on breaking down complex ideas into clear, manageable steps and helping students build both confidence and curiosity.
Techniques & Methodology
For academic subjects (Chemistry & Maths), I combine theory with plenty of practice problems, using real-life examples to make concepts easier to grasp. I adapt my teaching style depending on whether the student needs exam preparation, help with homework, or simply wants to strengthen their understanding.
For Piano, I balance technical skills (scales, fingering, reading sheet music) with creativity.
Lesson Length
A standard lesson is usually 1 hour, but I can adjust depending on the student’s age, focus, and goals (shorter sessions for younger learners, longer for exam prep or intensive study).
Qualifications & Experience
I hold a BSc in Chemistry and have experience tutoring students of different ages in both science and maths. I also have years of piano playing experience and understand how to guide beginners through to intermediate levels.
Who I Teach
Chemistry & Maths: Secondary school students (GCSE, A-level, or equivalent), university foundation level, or anyone looking to strengthen their skills.
Piano: Beginners to intermediate learners of all ages.
Above all, my lessons are supportive and encouraging—I want my students to feel confident, motivated, and proud of their progress.
