About Michael
Hi! I’m a language enthusiast and a "bridge" between two of the most fascinating cultures in Asia. Born and raised in Hong Kong, I grew up with Cantonese as my mother tongue. Later, I spent 8 wonderful years in Taiwan for my university education and professional life, which made me a native-level Mandarin speaker with that signature friendly Taiwanese accent.
I moved to the UK recently and love sharing my passion for these languages. If you are learning Cantonese to impress your partner's family or want to master Mandarin for your next trip to Taipei, I’m here to help!
My lessons are practical, fun, and culturally rich. We won’t just memorise words; we’ll talk about food, lifestyle, and the subtle "logic" behind how we speak. I’m excited to help you start your journey into the world of Cantonese or Mandarin!

Hi, Because even I'm a native speaker still think Cantonese it's a hard language to learn. So you can watch the video first, and see it's ok or not for you first, haha.

Mandarin it's easier than Cantonese, even it's like both are Chinese languages, but have a lot of the detail it's different.
Like I prefer face to face more than online, because it's a language learning, so like face to face it's more real.
