About Christina
I am passionate about helping students solidify their understanding of mathematics because I recognize its importance in my day-to-day life. Math is not just relevant in school, but it also helps people be more astute and better at pattern recognition. I specialize in applications to magnet schools. I graduated Bergen County Academies with a 4.0 GPA and was awarded a congressional award for being a Valedictorian of my graduating class. The exams for magnet schools can be tricky, so it is helpful to review with someone who has the experience.

My lessons focus on helping students grasp the concept from the foundation. I help walk students through problems that they struggle with, and in that process, I observe the root cause of their struggles, so that I can help solidify their foundation which in turn helps with solving more difficult problems. My lessons typically consist of helping students with whatever homework problems they might be having, and moving past what they do in class to help them truly excel for their level.
