My teaching method is to break down the information into basics, making sure that my student has a base of knowledge before going deep into the subject. Once the student is able to grasp the basic knowledge of the subject we can begin to expand on each individual section catered to how the individual likes to be taught.
I am currently studying Geography and Politics at Edinburgh University. I did, Politics, History and English Literature for A level - as well as economics at AS. I received grades A*AA in my A levels and have been accepted to some of the highest Uni's in the UK. However, I haven't been a straight A student my whole life, I have always struggled with education and saw myself slipping into the lower classes at school. Yet I was able to motivate myself and learn in a way which has worked for me which isn't the style of many teachers. I started tutoring people in my 6th form college and have been doing so ever since.
