I have had previous experience tutoring a range of students including mature students who have been out of the education system for many years. These students have gone on to achieve top grades which have allowed them to progress further in their education and accept places at top Russell group universities. I have also held the role of Science Clinic supervisor at the top state school in the UK. This role meant that I had to tutor students who were struggling in normal science lessons, while liaising with staff in order to provide the best experience for the student.
I am also able to help students through the complicated medical school application process. Through my own struggles while applying I am now able to guide my students through the entire process from admissions tests to how to ace interviews. I have previously tutored students who have gone on to achieve a top 1% score in admissions tests as well as offers from 4 top ranking medical schools in the UK.
I ensure that my tutoring style is client centred meaning that my lessons will be specially moulded for each of my students and will focus on a greater understanding of the subject rather than just memorising information. This often means that my lessons involve asking questions and guiding the student to answers rather than just lecturing which is ineffective for most students
