About Jihye

Hi there! I’m Jihye. I’m currently living and working in the U.S., which means I truly understand the challenges and excitement of learning a new language and adapting to a new culture. Whether you’re a parent looking for a patient teacher for your child, a heritage learner wanting to reconnect with your roots, or an adult starting a fun new hobby, I’m here to guide you. My goal is to make Korean feel less like a 'subject' and more like a bridge to a new world. Let’s start this journey together!

About the lesson

"Tailored Lessons for Every Age and Goal!"
1. For Kids & Heritage Learners (Children/Kyopo)
• Fun & Interactive: We’ll learn through games, songs, and storytelling to keep kids engaged and excited.
• Building Connection: Helping heritage learners connect with their roots by focusing on daily family conversations and essential vocabulary.
• Stress-Free Environment: A gentle approach that builds confidence in speaking and understanding Korean naturally.
2. For Adult Hobbyists
• Real-Life Conversations: Focus on practical expressions used in K-dramas, travel, and daily life in Korea.
• Customized Pace: Whether you’re a total beginner or looking to polish your skills, I adapt to your learning speed and interests.
• Culture Inside: More than just grammar! We’ll dive into the cultural nuances behind the words.
How the lesson flows:
1. Warm-up: Quick review and casual chat to get your "Korean brain" working.
2. New Expressions: Learning key phrases and vocabulary through interesting topics.
3. Active Practice: Real-time speaking practice with instant feedback.
4. Wrap-up: Summary of today’s lesson and fun optional tasks to keep you motivated!
