About Calvin
Hey! I’m Calvin Hammond a college student from Atlanta, Georgia. I’m studying finance and pursuing a minor in Spanish. I studied Spanish in high school and spent 2 years immersed in the language and culture of South America. I have experience teaching Spanish to English speakers and English to Spanish speakers in one-on-one and class environments. I love the Spanish language and helping others progress their language abilities.

I take a very conversational approach to learning Spanish because verbal communication is the most used and most exciting part of learning a new language. We will touch on cultural ties like music, art and traditional foods while focusing on conversational fluency. Lessons are geared towards beginner to intermediate Spanish speakers.
