About Haytham
A first-year Economics student predicted a First Class degree.
This summer I have placements in financial services at two firms - one in credit and political risk, and one in global markets at a major international bank — reflecting the analytical and quantitative rigour I bring to everything I do.
Alongside my studies I work as an Investment Analyst and have built hands-on experience in financial modelling, valuation, and data analysis. I have a Gold Duke of Edinburgh's Award and have competed in sailing at national university level, which speaks to the discipline and commitment I apply both inside and outside academia.
I am patient, methodical, and genuinely enjoy breaking down complex ideas into something digestible. My tutoring style is calm and structured - I want students to leave each session more confident, not just better drilled."

I'm a first-year Economics student at the University of Bath, predicted a First, with an incoming summer placement within Finance. I specialise in A-level and first-year university Economics, Maths, and Statistics - covering microeconomics, macroeconomics, probability, and introductory econometrics.
My approach is explanation-first: I focus on building genuine intuition before working through technical detail, so students understand why something works rather than just memorising steps. Sessions typically run 60 minutes and are structured around the student's specific problem areas - whether that's an upcoming exam, a tricky concept, or coursework.
I'm comfortable with a wide range of topics including all the A-level economics specification, consumer theory, macroeconomic models, statistics, regression, and probability distributions. Lessons are online and suitable for A-level students or first-year undergraduates looking for clear, patient, and technically rigorous support.
