I am a dedicated and passionate Bharatanatyam (Indian classical dance) teacher with over 15 years of experience as a performer and choreographer. My journey with this timeless art form has been one of devotion, discipline, and creativity. I deeply enjoy exploring the nuances of Bharatanatyam, from its intricate rhythms to its profound storytelling, while also innovating within its classical framework.
As a teacher, I focus on nurturing each student’s unique potential, emphasizing technique, expression (abhinaya), and the cultural richness of the art form. My classes are structured to instill both discipline and joy, providing a solid foundation for beginners and advancing the skills of experienced learners. My Bharatanatyam lessons are designed to provide a comprehensive and immersive experience in Indian classical dance. Each class focuses on developing a strong foundation in **adavus** (basic steps), rhythm, and posture while also introducing students to the art of **abhinaya** (expressive storytelling).

Perfect! Sahanas strengths are 1: Her incredible organisation before the lesson (for 16 guys in Waterford). She organised the venue, she choreographed us a dance, i cant speak more highly of her work ethic in this regard. 2. She was a joy to deal with, her love and care for dance was infections, and her good humour also.
