About Josh
I’m Josh, a 22-year-old living in Turin, Italy. I have a BA (Hons) in Modern Languages (French and German) from the University of Nottingham, and I speak Italian too! I love languages and my passion for linguistics and culture come together in creating my unique perspective on language learning that I often find people surprised by. Sometimes the best way to learn a language is the least thought of, but at the same time the most obvious! I have previously studied in Germany (Jena specifically!) and so have first-hand experience with German-speaking environments!

I prefer to teach and help people in a way that is both relaxed and personal. I enjoy to first hear your experience with the subject and what exactly it is that you aim to achieve in it. With this in mind I can tailor your learning to your personal aspirations and self-perceived strengths and weaknesses (because we all have them!) Sessions typically last an hour, but I am happy to do shorter sessions of 30 minutes (where possible), or longer ones where possible and within reason.
