About Teddy
My name is Teddy, I am 20 years old and am a Law student based in Manchester. I have been coaching skateboarding for over 3 years, and am incredibly passionate about the sport.
The sense of community that skateboarding has brought to me, and can bring to individuals of all backgrounds is very valuable to me.
As a co-director of a skate-based CIC called New Wave Skate and an established skate coach, I have extensive experience in working with people of all ages and abilities, including people of marginalised genders and children.

Using teaching methods recognised by the national governing body of skateboarding (Skateboard GB), i will tailor and deliver 1-2 hour long private skateboard lessons.
Specific experience includes working with people of marginalised genders and children.
Training includes:
- Get Rolling by SBGB
- Coaching Skills by SBGB
- Judging Seminar by SBGB
Experience includes:
- Delivering high-quality skateboarding lessons at two established skateparks in Manchester.
- International volunteer with SkatePal.
- Skateboard judge for SBGB, including at the National Street Competition in 2024.

My daughters have been taught skateboarding by Kiera for over a year now and they both really look forward to her lesson every week. She is great teacher, patient and fun! I would highly recommend Kiera for group or individual lessons…we think she’s ace!
My daughter Hadley started skateboarding with Kiera as her coach at age 7 last September and honestly we cannot rate her highly enough! She is attentive and helpful but also makes each session fun for Hads. She has really taken Hads from strength to strength and we trust her 1000%. She’s patient, incredibly experienced and competent and kids really gravitate to her coaching style. We are so excited to continue with Hads skate education this summer!
