I am a student. I grew up in environment where English was an language of instruction. I've been a English tutor of grade 3 learners at Step Ahead primary school and i believe what matters most is the right foundation.

I choose to attend my students as individuals, because our methods/ways of understand are very different. I usually say each person deserves a chance. As a teacher you cannot progress with the majority that understands you while leaving the minority that doesn't understand you; you failed as teacher. Doing so you're killing the future of the minority.
