About Carmen
My name is Carmen Bayas, and I am an experienced educator with more than 24 years of teaching experience at both undergraduate and graduate levels. I am passionate about languages, culture, and helping students gain confidence in their communication skills.
As a native Spanish speaker, I create engaging and personalized lessons tailored to each student's goals, whether they want to improve conversation skills, prepare for travel, communicate with family, or advance their professional opportunities.
My teaching approach is patient, supportive, and interactive. I believe learning a language should be enjoyable, practical, and connected to real-life situations. My goal is to help students feel comfortable speaking Spanish from the very beginning while discovering the richness of Hispanic culture.
