About Leonildo

My 20 years of experience is a research project focused on the analysis of stakeholders in the autonomous learning of English and the boss of possibilities for reconciling this educational alternative and professional career (a) s apprentices. Research is anchored, from a theoretical point of view, knowledge bases on the "good language learner", the learning styles and learning strategies. The research, qualitative, is an interpretive case study, which used the life history methodology to show data that allowed to answer the research questions that emerged at the beginning of the investigation. They enabled the generation of data for research analysis of documents, collection of photographs and conducting interviews. Crystallization stood out as the best alternative for the analysis of collected data and, therefore, was adopted. The results of the analyzes indicated that, in the case of the research participant, the autonomy processes in learning English are experienced intuitively and not as a result of planning it and / or a (a) of his / her professore (the ) s, identified the aspects relevant to the autonomous learning, such as the importance of the development of curricula and the selection of teaching materials, indicated progress measurement alternatives in independent studies and highlighted the conditions that favor the migration of proficiency in general English for business English. It is our intention to present these results, to stimulate the search for alternatives that promote the reconciliation of English autonomous learning with the interests of entered apprentices (a) s in professional contexts and therefore do not have time to check in conventional language schools, language proficiency to them sued.

I intend to examine the methodology of teaching foreign languages ​​and teaching principles that guide the selection of methodological procedures for the teacher in this area. To this end, the reflection begins with the presentation of an overview of some methods that make the range of language teacher options. Then presents a discussion of the contribution that knowledge of these methods can bring to teachers, starting from the perspective of a coherent selection of the most appropriate principles to the context in which the teacher to find. These are some of the assumptions that guide what is called Post-method in the literature in Applied Linguistics. The particular contextual factors, the careful implementation of theories, and the choice based materials based on the application of the most appropriate concepts make up the three-dimensional system of pedagogies of the Post method: particularity, practice and possibility, respectively (KUMARADIVELU, 2001). The concepts surrounding the three pedagogies Post-method are crucial to the development of a more critical work in the classroom of foreign languages.
