About Wren
I am a professional Spanish tutor with 9 years of tutoring experience and a passion for helping students unlock their full potential. Throughout my teaching career, I have successfully worked with around 150–200 students from diverse backgrounds and skill levels. My teaching philosophy is based on personalised learning, ensuring that every lesson is designed around the student's individual goals and learning preferences.
My lessons combine grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, and speaking with practical communication activities that prepare students for real-life situations. I use interactive discussions, role-playing, pronunciation exercises, and engaging learning materials to make every session productive and enjoyable.
I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable and supported. I teach Spanish with a focus on creating an engaging, interactive, and personalised learning journey. Integrity guarantees that lessons are honest, fair, and adapted to each student’s unique strengths and challenges.
I practice Flexibility, adjusting lesson plans, exercises, and teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles, ages, and levels of proficiency. Communication is central to my approach; I encourage active participation, conversation, and interactive exercises to help students internalise grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation naturally.
A Positive environment motivates learners, celebrates their achievements, and builds confidence. I also incorporate complementary subjects such as literature, grammar, and cultural studies, giving students the practical tools and context they need to use Spanish effectively in real-life situations.
My goal is to help students gain fluency, develop cultural understanding, and enjoy learning Spanish.
