About Elise
As a violin tutor with 12 years of experience, I have had the privilege of teaching school students, college students, and working professionals with different goals and levels of experience. I enjoy helping students build confidence and express themselves through music.
My teaching philosophy emphasizes patience, motivation, and personal growth. I believe that learning should be enjoyable and that every student deserves lessons designed around their individual needs.
Over the years, I have successfully helped many students improve their performance skills and deepen their understanding of music. One of my greatest achievements has been watching students transform their interest in music into a lasting passion.
My goal is to provide a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students can grow, succeed, and enjoy the wonderful journey of learning the violin.

My teaching approach is centered on kindness, patience, and support. I understand that every student learns differently, so I create lessons that are flexible and suited to individual goals and abilities.
During violin lessons, I focus on posture, bowing techniques, finger coordination, rhythm, and note reading. I believe strong fundamentals are essential for long-term progress, so I ensure students master the basics before introducing advanced concepts.
I provide continuous encouragement and constructive feedback to help students improve with confidence. I also teach effective practice strategies that help students achieve better results outside the classroom.
Besides violin, I teach related music subjects such as music theory, ear training, and sight reading. These additional skills help students become more complete musicians.
My goal is to create a learning experience that is enjoyable, productive, and inspiring.
