About Leigh
With more than 15+ years of experience as a Guitar tutor, I have successfully guided students from schools, colleges, and professional backgrounds. Whether a student is a beginner or already has some experience, I provide structured lessons that help them progress step by step.
My teaching style focuses on understanding each student's goals and creating lessons that suit their needs. I combine practical exercises with music theory to ensure students develop both technical skills and musical understanding.
In addition to Guitar, I also teach music theory, rhythm training, ear development, and basic performance techniques. I believe these supporting subjects help students become better musicians.
My unique skill is simplifying difficult concepts and making learning enjoyable. I maintain a supportive and positive environment where students feel motivated to improve. Seeing my students grow in confidence and musical ability is the most rewarding part of my teaching journey.

I follow a practical and engaging teaching approach for Guitar based on Communication, Creativity, and Flexibility. I explain lessons clearly and provide structured guidance so students can understand and practise effectively. I also encourage students to ask questions and actively participate in lessons.
Creativity is an important part of my teaching. I include songs, exercises, and different styles of music to make lessons engaging. I also motivate students to explore their own musical ideas.
Flexibility allows me to adapt lessons according to each student’s level and pace. I create personalised lesson plans and adjust them as needed. Along with Guitar, I teach music theory, rhythm training, and listening skills for overall development.
