About Tristan
I am a passionate Trumpet tutor with 7+ years of teaching experience, helping High School students, College students, and adults achieve their learning goals. Over the years, I have successfully taught around 300 students with different abilities and backgrounds. Every student learns differently, so I make sure my lessons are flexible and personalised.
My teaching philosophy is based on patience, encouragement, and continuous improvement. I believe learning becomes easier when students feel comfortable asking questions and practising without fear of making mistakes. I explain every lesson in simple English and break complex topics into small, easy-to-understand steps.
My classes include clear explanations, guided practice, skill-building activities, and regular feedback. I encourage students to practise consistently because small improvements every day lead to long-term success. I also help students build confidence by celebrating their progress and motivating them to reach higher goals.
Teaching around 300 students has been one of the greatest achievements of my career. Many students have improved their skills, gained confidence, and successfully achieved their academic and personal objectives. Their success continues to inspire me as an educator.
I always create a friendly, respectful, and supportive learning environment where students enjoy every lesson. My goal is not only to teach Trumpet but also to develop confidence, discipline, and a lifelong interest in learning. I am committed to helping every student reach their full potential through dedication, patience, and quality instruction.

My teaching approach for Trumpet focuses on developing strong musical foundations while encouraging creativity and confidence in every student. I use Communication as a key part of my methodology to explain techniques clearly and provide helpful feedback throughout the learning journey.
I understand that every student learns differently, so I use Adaptation to Learning Styles to create personalised lessons based on their abilities, goals, and progress. I include Real-life examples and case studies from professional trumpet players, concerts, orchestras, and bands to help students understand how musical concepts are applied in real situations.
Along with Trumpet, I also teach related subjects such as Music Theory, Ear Training, Sight Reading, Rhythm Training, Improvisation, and Performance Skills. My lessons focus on breathing techniques, tone production, articulation, scales, and musical expression. I aim to create an enjoyable learning environment where students can improve their skills and develop a lifelong passion for music.
