About Jasper
I am a passionate Flute tutor with 13 years of teaching and professional experience. I teach students from school to college and enjoy helping them build both musical skills and self-confidence. I believe every student can learn music with the right guidance, patience, and regular practice.
My lessons are easy to follow and focus on strong fundamentals such as breathing, posture, finger techniques, rhythm, and tone quality. As students improve, I introduce expressive playing, dynamics, and performance techniques. One of the greatest moments in my career has been seeing students perform confidently on stage and enjoy their musical progress.
Besides flute, I also teach music theory, ear training, sight reading, rhythm exercises, and performance preparation. My goal is to create a positive learning environment where students feel motivated to grow, ask questions, and enjoy every lesson. I encourage consistency, creativity, and confidence so that students develop a lifelong love for music.

I believe that music learning becomes meaningful when students enjoy every lesson. My flute teaching approach is built on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity. I focus on helping students build confidence while developing excellent musical skills.
Every lesson is personalised according to the student's age, experience, and learning goals. Students begin with breathing control, posture, finger coordination, rhythm, and note reading before moving to advanced topics such as scales, articulation, dynamics, expressive playing, and improvisation.
Motivation helps students stay interested and committed to regular practice. I communicate every concept in simple English using demonstrations and practical exercises. Integrity allows me to create a respectful classroom where students feel supported and valued.
Creative learning includes favourite songs, listening exercises, musical games, rhythm challenges, and performance practice. Besides flute, I teach music theory, recorder, beginner keyboard, ear training, sight reading, rhythm development, and music appreciation. My aim is to help students enjoy music while becoming skilled performers.
