About Ruthie
I am an experienced violin tutor with 13 years of teaching experience working with students from schools, colleges, and professional backgrounds. I am passionate about helping students discover the joy of music while developing strong technical skills.
My teaching philosophy is centered on understanding each student's needs and providing lessons that support their individual goals. I believe learning should be enjoyable, motivating, and adapted to each learner's pace.
During my teaching journey, I have successfully helped many students strengthen their technique, improve musical expression, and gain confidence. One of my proudest achievements has been watching students progress steadily and become independent musicians.
I create a friendly and encouraging environment where students can feel comfortable learning and expressing themselves through music. My goal is to inspire confidence and a lifelong love for music.

My teaching style is based on compassion, supportiveness, and clear communication. I strive to create a positive learning experience where students feel motivated and comfortable expressing themselves.
For violin students, I focus on building strong basics, including posture, finger placement, bowing techniques, rhythm, and note reading. I teach gradually and ensure students fully understand each lesson before progressing further.
I provide continuous support and encourage students to view mistakes as part of the learning process. Through regular feedback and encouragement, I help students gain confidence and remain motivated.
Besides violin, I can teach related music subjects such as music theory, ear training, sight reading, and performance preparation. These subjects help students strengthen their musical skills and understanding.
My goal is to help students become confident musicians and lifelong learners.
