About Jarrod
I am an immigrant from South Africa and I have been living in Scotland for the last three years. For the past three years I have worked different jobs whilst studying for an HNC in electrical engineering. Last year I applied for an engineering apprentice role within the UK government and successfully achieved an apprenticeship in instrument engineering. I am currently studying towards a degree in instrumentation engineering. I am looking to earn a bit more money to support myself and find that helping others academically will not only improve their skills but will also benefit mine.

I am available on weekends for tutoring. The timing depends on the student and the type of maths. I have successfully completed and passed an HNC in engineering maths and am currently furthering my education in instrumentation engineering.
My lessons are very interactive as I am also a student, I can relate to students more and therefore I feel it is also important to develop students confidence in maths. I encourage students to ask questions and if I can not answer immediately, I will research the topic until we both can have a better understanding.
